Silver Lake Health Inspection – August 2021

Solitude Lake Management Service completed its quarterly lake inspection and reported the following on August 12, 2021:

During the lake monitoring visit a small amount of alligator weed regrowth was found in the previously treated areas. The amount of regrowth is approximately 5% of the original amount of growth that was treated. Silver Lake also has a minor planktonic algae bloom, which may subside on its own. The inlet areas of both lakes are shallow due to sedimentation, and there is a moderate amount of organic debris accumulated in each lake. A moderate amount of isolated shoreline erosion was also noted around both lakes. We will continue to monitor the lakes.
