Save our Lakes
All of us benefit from our beautiful lakes — Silver Lake and Little Silver Lake. Sustaining this beauty, however, requires lake dredging to remove silt buildup to avoid loss of depth.
Without dredging every 5-10 years, our precious lakes will turn into swamplands, property values will decline, and our backyards will become an eyesore.
That’s where you come in — to Save our Lakes.
The lakes are due for dredging, which will cost an estimated $200,000 to do all the recommended work. Below is how we’ll get there with your support:
- SLCA has already saved $50,000
- Neighbor’s contributions of $105,000
- We still need $45,000
Fund Dredge Campaign
We need each resident to do their part to help keep our lakes from turning into swamps. In addition to annual membership dues, we ask that each household gives based on both their use and proximity to the lakes.
