Silver Lake Health Inspection — July 2024

Estate Management Services completed its quarterly lake inspection and reported the following on July 11, 2023:

We conducted your next quarterly inspection on June 26 th , 2024. The survey was conducted on both ponds via kayak by our field biologist, Bailey Quintley. We have your bathymetry survey scheduled for this month. We have attached a few pictures for documentation to this report. The pictures mostly just show alligator weed growth in a few spots that need to be addressed on our next visit. We sprayed some alligator weed growth in the small pond via backpack.

Both bodies of water were in good condition. No new erosion issues exist. We were concerned about possible E-Coli issues, so we pulled water samples from each pond. I have attached the sample results. E-Coli was detected at 4.1 and 21.8 colonies per ML. The World Health Organization (WHO) limits E-Coli to less than 126 colonies for swimming. The results show you below the WHO level. We do need to have some geese removed if you have a service for that, otherwise, the lakes are great, and several bream beds had active activity.
